Ping Pong - Competition rules
1.Competition date： 10th . Oct .2014.
2.Competition place： Stadium of Nankai Area in Tianjin
3.Competition item :
Men' s single, women' s single
4.Age of athletes
Female athletes : 55-70 years of age (born before January 1st, 1959 ) .
Male athletes : 60-75 years of age ( born before January 1st, 1954 ) .
5.Registration personnel audit qualifications
(1) Age comply with registration conditions;
(2) No participation of retired or professional athletes;
(3)Registration athletes must be in good health, meet the physical demands of the sport projects; (hypertension, cardiovascular disease or illness is not conducive to the sport may not participate)
6.How to participate in
(1)Acceptance of organized or individual registration, registration officers in their personal to take participate in this event.
(2) The foreign table tennis team also be the way to take participate in this event by organizations or individuals ecapacity .
(3) To accept 30 teams to register of the current games inside and outside .
(4) Subject to the health inspection certificateof the county hospitals above level, athletes should take personal accident insurance during the event , and sign this tournament "voluntarily participating responsibility"
7.Competition method:
(1)Follow the ITTF tournament competition rules promulgated
(2)Based on the number of applicants in accordance with the contest rules, contest preparation Official Program, decided the game program.
(3) 11 points per game each plate made five innings three wins and one defeat knockout round robin competition in accordance with the requirements of the program, taking the top eight. Male and female athletes into the game after the top eight for seven innings of four match.
8.Equipment
There must be no flash-sided racket cover, different colors in two sides. Particle length and diameter, shape, thickness ball, sponge thickness, the overall thickness should be performed according to "ITTF Rules" standard. Game ball uniform provided by the General Assembly. Use of international "Double Happiness" or "Pisces" 40 mm white table tennis.
9. Incentives :
( 1 )The top eight will be awarded , the top three awarded gold, silver and bronze medals and certificates , and the fourth to the eighth certificates.
( 2 ) The coaches and athletes that participating in this games , will be issued commemorative certificate.
10.Registration
(1)The one who will participate in the competitions must be voluntarily,and family support , when each team sign-up at first time, would take "voluntarily participating responsibility"that has signature by themselves and family , The second time to registration ,please take ID card, one-inch color photos and electronic version (by e-mail), (to reach the postmark date) send to the Organizing Committee before 30th Aug. 2014.

(2) Late registration, materials and information submitted incomplete registration is invalid.

11.Precautions
(1) Abandon competition after drinking, must wear sneakers , financial (bags, rackets, etc.) self-management.
(2)Athletes would go to sign with really identity, and receive entry documents in the organizing committee .
(3)Athletes can not be all white jersey
12. The rules according to the "general rules for the implementation of all provisions". Unaccomplished matters, further notice.
13.The right for final explanation of the rules belongs to the Organizing Committee for the First Elderly Olympic Games.
